Our Healer God

God is working miracles in our midst. Tonight I had the opportunity to pray over a friend whose lower back has been bothering him for the past several days. So much so that he has been getting very little sleep. I believe in the power of prayer, and I believe that God is the One who heals.

I wanted to see God heal my friend, so I asked if I could place my hand where it hurt. After praying for a little while, I wanted to gauge the pain level. So I asked him if there was a difference that he could feel. He said it felt slightly better, but it still hurt. So I began to pray over him again. Again, after five-seven minutes of praying, I felt prompted by the Holy Spirit to ask about his back pain. He said that it got worse. There was no doubt in my mind that God was working, so we continued to pray. About ten minutes later, I felt prompted again to ask. He said it felt 95% better!! We thanked God for healing him 95% and asked to finish healing the 5%. When we finished praying, my friend said he was 100% healed! Praise God, our Healer, our Father who cares for us, and who chooses to use us!!
